Limitless Wellbeing

We provide therapeutic programmes designed to better understand the autonomic nervous system, provide the opportunity to reset and the tools to reduce and manage anxiety.

At Limitless Futures we go beyond the traditional 6 weeks of talking therapy, which can place limits on the potential progression of a young person’s therapeutic journey. Instead, we provide a bespoke approach giving hope and possibility.

We welcome enquiries from parents and carers, schools and social services. Commissioning of sessions may be made directly by families or via the local authority if provision is referenced in your child’s EHCP.

Family wellbeing

The limitless community supports parents and carers on their journeys through evidence-based workshops to enhance wellbeing and strengthen relationships.

Psychoeducation

We deliver a number of programmes for young people to provide a better understanding of our nervous systems.

Emotional wellbeing

We provide therapeutic emotional wellbeing sessions for individuals and families. Assisting children who experience anxiety, SEND, social emotional needs and barriers to education.

Emotional wellbeing

We employ a variety of evidence-based wellbeing techniques including:

  • Mindfulness - becoming more aware of our surroundings, to ‘live in the moment’. Including breathwork and grounding.
  • Dialectical behaviour therapeutic work (DBT informed wellbeing practice) - understanding and accepting difficult feelings, while learning skills to manage them (adapted for people who feel emotions very intensely). Identifying feelings in relation to thoughts, such that they are less likely to influence subsequent feelings and behaviours
  • Cognitive behavioural therapeutic work (CBT informed wellbeing practice) - restructuring and reframing cognitions and beliefs.
  • Nurture approach - naming individual strengths, drawing focus to the greatness of each child. Using positive Psychology to focus on character strengths and behaviours that allow us to build a life of meaning and purpose, to move beyond surviving to thriving.
  • Systemic family work - helping those in close relationships to better understand and support each other by focusing on relationships between a group of people, rather than solely on an individual’s thoughts and feelings.
  • Collaborative and proactive, solutions work - helps caregivers focus on identifying the problems that are causing concerning behaviours and solving those problems collaboratively and proactively with children.

Psychoeducation

We support anxious children and young people, from mainstream, SEND, alternative provision and home ed settings finding it difficult to access education or take part in everyday activities.

Nature Reconnection - (12+ weeks - term time)

The most nuturing of all our programmes based around connection with the environment to reconnect with life. A low demand, child led offering using play and the arts to enhance wellbeing.

Brain - Body connection (12+ weeks - term time)

A fun, hands-on programme that encourages curiosity and develops language to promote interoception expression. This language is used as the foundation to explore the nervous system and to gain an understanding of why we all experience a range of emotions, along with useful tools and techniques for every day life.

Life Crafting (12+ weeks - term time)

An interactive coaching programme designed to satisfy the basic needs of autonomy, competence and relatedness. The programme inspires a sense of motivation and purpose, providing an important stepping stone to enable young people to engage with – and play an active and positive role in their community.
